Overview
On 1st July 2026, the Rotary Club of Thane Amigos successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp at Indira Nagar, Wagle Estate, Thane, with the objective of encouraging voluntary blood donation and supporting local healthcare institutions by strengthening the availability of safe blood supplies.
The camp was conducted with active participation from Rotary members, volunteers, and community members. Donors were guided through the registration, medical screening, and donation process under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals, ensuring a safe and well-organized experience for all participants. The initiative also helped raise awareness about the importance of regular voluntary blood donation and its life-saving impact.
The project was completed at a total cost of ₹10,000. It directly benefited 75 individuals and involved 90 man-hours contributed by Rotary members and volunteers, reflecting the club's commitment to community service and public health.
